Deanna Mankins

Chief Financial Officer
Deanna Mankins has served as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Zachary since 2019. She is a lifelong resident of Zachary, graduating from Zachary High School in 1989 and Louisiana State University in 1992. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Deanna has spent a significant part of her 31-year career at Postlethwaite and Netterville, specializing in corporate and individual income tax with a concentration in nonprofit industries and healthcare. As a tax manager, she prepared high-level income tax returns and supervised staff and client relations. Before this, Deanna was the controller at Lane Regional Medical Center from 1997 to 2001. There, she supervised the accounting staff, worked with department managers on budgeting, and was responsible for monthly financial statements and coordination of the annual financial audit. In addition, she serves as a Director for GuideStone Funds, a diversified financial services firm, and sits on the BREC Finance Advisory Committee. Married to Scott for 33 years, they have three children -Molly, Michael Scott, and Mallory and a grandson, Jameson. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors.

Dana LeJeune

Clerk of City Council/Accountant
Dana LeJeune serves as the Zachary City Clerk, appointed in June 2015 by the Zachary City Council. She is responsible for notifying council members and the community of all meetings, keeping a journal of meeting proceedings and minutes, and serving as the official secretary of the council, according to Zachary’s Home Rule Charter. LeJeune has been a Zachary City employee since 2009 and is presently serving as an accountant in the Finance Department. She also serves as Secretary of the Police and Fire Civil Service Board, Municipal Civil Service Board, Condemnation Board, and the Home Rule Charter Commission.
