David Conachen
Judge
Judge David Conachen grew up in Baker, Louisiana, and graduated in 1991 from Baker High School. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he received his undergraduate degree and Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA). While studying for his MBA, he began his career in real estate, becoming a licensed real estate agent and certified real estate appraiser. After ten years in real estate, Judge Conachen attended law school at LSU, receiving his Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law in 2009. He has practiced law at The Law Offices of Ossie Brown since 2010. He was appointed to the position of Zachary City Prosecutor in January 2021 and continued in that position until he was elected as Zachary City Court Judge in December 2022. Judge Conachen began his term on January 1, 2023, and he is the third Judge in the city’s history. Judge Conachen, his wife Jodi, and their three children Alexis, Kellen, and Connor moved to Zachary in 2013. Since then, he and his family have become active in the community. He serves as a board member for Legendz Sports Academy and is a member of the Zachary Athletic Foundation. Judge Conachen and his family worship at Fellowship Church in Zachary.
A native of Zachary, Louisiana, Allen Hayes graduated from Northwestern High School in 1969. Mr. Hayes attends The Greater New Hope Baptist Church where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He is retired from the City of Zachary but serves as the Probation Officer for Zachary City Court.
