Zachary Police Chief Issues City-Wide Curfew

ZACHARY CURFEW: Beginning at 7:30PM TONIGHT UNTIL 7:00AM TOMORROW MORNING (THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2024)

“The weather conditions are expected to continue to decline as Hurricane Francine approaches East Baton Rouge Parish and the City of Zachary. Out of an abundance of caution, I have decided to enforce a city-wide curfew beginning at 7:30PM until 7:00AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024. This is for the safety of all residents and to ensure safer travel for police officers, other first responders and emergency operations during and after the hurricane passes our area.”  Darryl Lawrence, Sr. , Zachary Chief of Police
