Important Information Regarding the Reopening of Zachary Youth Park

We are excited about reopening and getting back to some sense of normalcy at the Zachary Youth Park. Practices are to be scheduled through our office starting on Tuesday, May 26th. We will schedule practice times from 11am to 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday in an hour and a half time slots. The batting cages will be opened from 11am to 7:30pm, Monday through Thursday. This will allow our staff an opportunity to sanitize each morning and throughout the day every 2 hours.

Restroom facilities have been upgraded to touchless mechanisms on all sinks, urinals, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers and toilets. COVID 19 signage has been installed throughout the park. The park will be locked at 8pm each night during phase 1 of the reopening and we will adjust availability as we progress through the phases per the Governor’s orders.

All $50.00 per practice session payments will need to be made online at https://securepayment.link/cityofzacharyrecreation/ once a time and day have been scheduled with Brandie Triche. Our office hours are 7am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and the office telephone number is 654-6529.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time and ask that you follow all signage referring to the non-usage of sunflower seeds, spikes, tobacco and follow personal hygiene practices once you begin to utilize the park.

Our staff is responsible for sanitizing restrooms every 2 hours and monitoring that all rules are being followed according to the RLC Tourism Task Force Guidelines.

Thank you again, Let’s Play Ball!
