Zachary Joins the Litter Clean-Up Effort on Friday, April 28

The City of Zachary and The Zachary Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Keep Louisiana Beautiful "Love The Boot Week," are holding a litter cleanup event on Friday, April 28th, from 10 am – 11 am. Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of CC's Coffee, 19560 Old Scenic Hwy., where cleanup efforts will occur along Old Scenic Highway.

During the state's most extensive litter cleanup and beautification event, businesses and residents are encouraged to take notice of litter and be proactive in keeping Zachary clean. Addressing the litter problem is a responsibility we all must share. If everyone in every parish works together and does their part, we will achieve our goal of ending litter in Louisiana, says Keep Louisiana Beautiful. 

Trash pickers, garbage bags, gloves, and vests will be provided, but you can bring your own, also. We encourage you to join us this Friday; one hour can make a difference.
