Zachary Comprehensive Master Plan Kickoff and Visioning Meeting Scheduled

In 2010, the City of Zachary adopted a new Comprehensive Plan to help guide the future growth and development of Zachary. Over the past several years, the City has updated many development regulations, including adopting a fully revised Unified Development Code (UDC) in 2022. The original drafters recommended reviewing the plan every five years to ensure it fulfills the city's needs.  

The city is now ready to engage the Zachary community in updating this plan. An Open House/Kickoff Visioning Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at the Zachary Branch Library, 1900 Church Street from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to give a brief introduction and overview of the plan update process. We invite you to join the Planning Team and City staff to learn more about the update and to share your thoughts and vision for the future of Zachary.
