Free COVID-19 Testing for Zachary Residents Experiencing Symptoms

MedComp Sciences, a local medical laboratory in Zachary has partnered with the City of Zachary and Lane Regional Medical Center to offer free drive-through COVID-19 testing to 100 patients on Wednesday, May 13, from 12pm – 4pm at the Zachary Youth Park, located at 1650 Mt. Pleasant Road. Registration through the MedComp portal will be mandatory to receive testing @ https://bookwhen.com/medcomp . The deadline to register is Tuesday, May 12 by 12:00 p.m. You must be registered to participate.
In line with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, the testing will be offered to Zachary residents who are presently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, new loss of taste or smell, vomiting or diarrhea, and/or sore throat. Upon arrival, please remain in your vehicle. Patient’s must present proof of Zachary residency and proof of identity. Lane Regional Medical Center will provide staff members for specimen collection, as well as educational handouts from the CDC to all patients being tested. Please be reminded that you will not be allowed to show up and receive a test unless you have pre-registered.
