Posted by zachary on April 28, 2020

Tonight's City of Zachary Council Meeting will be conducted virtual, via Zoom meeting app. Zoom is a digital conferencing service that will allow meetings to be broadcast on the internet to devices such as computers or tablets. The meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30 p.m. The public will be able to view the meetings live on Facebook @ The City of Zachary. You can find the agenda on the City of Zachary Website at https://www.cityofzachary.org/uploads/files/04-28-20_Agenda_for_City_Council_Meeting.pdf

If you have an item on the agenda that you feel needs your attendance in person at the Council Meeting, there will be social distancing guidelines that you must adhere to. Security will be positioned at the entrance of the Council Chambers, allowing only one person at a time when your item is up for discussion. If you are showing any symptoms of illness, do not come to City Hall. If you come inside City Hall, you must wear a face mask. This policy will be strictly enforced.

If you choose not to attend the Council Meeting, but wish to make a comment on a specific agenda item prior to the council meeting, you may email City Attorney, John Hopewell at john.hopewell@cityofzachary.org. This method of communication is highly encouraged. Emails will be accepted beginning at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 28th. Your comments will be officially read during the meeting and discussed by the Council Members who will be attending the meeting via Zoom.
