City of Zachary Receives Favorable Audit Findings

The City of Zachary revealed its audit report on the city’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, at the Council Meeting on January 9. We are happy to report that our city stands in exceptional financial health. The audit results confirm that we have managed our resources prudently and effectively, positioning us in a robust economic state.

Mayor McDavid commended the efforts of our Chief Financial Officer, Deanna Mankins, the Finance Staff, and the cooperation of our city departments for providing data in a timely and organized manner. “Fiscal responsibility is first and foremost for my department, and I would like to thank our city employees for their full support and cooperation in making the City of Zachary the best it can be,” says Deanna Mankins, CFO.
