The City of Zachary experienced significant flooding in August 2016 and can be expected to be affected in the future.  Major flooding conditions can cause significant damage to public and private property; disruption of public services and loss of human life.  We can reduce risk and help make our community more damage resistant by providing information to residents and property owners about actions they can take to prepare for floods;
