Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Set for November 3rd

Mayor David McDavid would like to invite the community to attend the Annual Prayer Breakfast on Friday, November 3rd, at First Baptist Church Zachary, Family Life Center, located at 4200 Main Street. A full breakfast buffet, served by the Rotary Club of Zachary, will begin at 7 a.m. The program will officially start at 7:30 a.m.  

The theme, "One City One Team," was chosen by Mayor David McDavid. "Together, as a team, we can make a positive difference in our workplaces, communities, and society,” says McDavid.

LSU Baseball Coach Jay Johnson will serve as the Guest Speaker, and William "Billy" Kline will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Special Music will include The Zachary High School Choir and First Baptist Church Zachary Praise Team performances.  

Students from Northwestern Middle School Art Department had the opportunity to use their artistic talent by submitting artwork in a competition that best depicts the "One City One Team" theme. The student art that best exemplified the theme was chosen and will be featured on the front of the event program and displayed at the event. The winning student is 8th Grade Student Madison Smith.
