City of Zachary Observes New Year’s Day

The City of Zachary Governmental Offices will close on Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Year holiday.

There will be no garbage pick-up on New Year’s Day, January 1st.  If your regular collection day falls on this day, your service will be delayed one day.  If your collection day comes later in the week after collection has been delayed, your service may also be delayed one day because of the weekday holiday. 

Recycling will be collected on Monday, January 1st as scheduled.
